My journey began in carpentry at the age of 17, giving me a solid foundation in structure and design. Seven years ago, I launched Slab Culture out of a small shed here in Wodonga with a singular focus: mastering GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete).
In the early days, we crafted polished concrete benchtops for local builders and architects, tackling everything from indoor kitchens to fireplace surrounds. But we noticed a distinct shift our customers wanted to entertain outside, and they needed a durable, high-quality solution to do it.
That demand shaped who we are today. While GFRC concrete remains our core and passion, we have evolved to manufacture complete outdoor kitchens, cabinetry, appliances, and bench tops included.
